Tom Thiel

Tom Thiel began his career as a recording engineer in Bavaria, working with Marc Almond, Siouxsie and the Banshees, ELO, Yello and many more artists in the eighties.
Moving to Berlin in 1988 he became a member of Fischerman's Friend, which released one album on Phonogram.
After the split of the band in 1991 Max Loderbauer (now in: NSI, Moritz v. Oswald Trio) and Tom founded SUN ELECTRIC.
They released five studio- and one live-album (on R&S and Shitkatapult) and toured throughout the world, pioneering live electronica on stage in the early nineties.
After the split of S.E. in 2001, Tom and his friend Daniel Meteo founded BUS, with part-time member singer/rapper MC Soom-T from Glasgow. They released 2 albums on Scape.
In 2011 Tom finally released his first Solalbum "Tom Thiel" on Shitkatapult.
